It’s a little-known fact that during the World War I, there are some epic battles on the Macedonian front by land and by air. The 21-year-old Rudolf von Eschwege is the only fighter pilot defending the Bulgarian army. He soon became the best ace in the region. People call him The White Eagle, The Eagle of the Aegean Sea, The Richthofen of the Balkans. The enemies couldn’t shoot him down in a fair fight, so they killed him by using military cunning… But his friends are still alive – Bulgarian pilots Balan and Uzunov. They are the White Eagles now!
